Marten Scheuck

Marten Scheuck is a PhD student at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy since September 2021, specializing in research on protoplanetary disks within the Planet and Star Formation department. Responsibilities include writing proposals, preparing observations, data reduction, creating explanatory models programmatically, and employing Bayesian methods for statistical analysis. Previously, Marten served as a Graduate Assistant at MINT-Labs Regensburg, focusing on the construction of Raster Tunnel Microscopes, and as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Regensburg, supervising lab courses and maintaining technical aspects of experiments. Earlier experience includes roles as a working student at Siemens, a freelancer for Amberger Zeitung, and an usher at Stadttheater Amberg. Educational background includes a Doctor of Science in Astronomy from Heidelberg University and a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Regensburg.
