Morgan Fouesneau is an experienced astrophysicist and data scientist with a strong background in software development and data analysis. Currently, at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy, Morgan builds the data science department and leads projects within the Gaia consortium and 4MOST, focusing on astrophysical parameter assessment, spectral classification, and machine learning techniques. Previous roles include positions at the University of Washington, where expertise in probabilistic modeling and resource development was applied, and at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian, where research on temporal analysis and image processing was conducted.
