Anthony Almarza

Anthony Almarza has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Anthony is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Max Retail since October 2022. Previously, they worked at Medly as a Staff Engineer from June 2021 to October 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Backend Engineer at Quadio from March 2019 to April 2021. Before joining Quadio, Anthony worked at Fullscreen as a Lead Software Engineer from April 2018 to March 2019. Anthony also worked at Reelio as a Senior Backend Engineer from January 2017 to April 2018 and as a Fullstack Developer from July 2013 to January 2017, where they were involved in various Python-related web development projects. Earlier in their career, Anthony served as a Research Assistant at the University of Queensland from December 2007 to May 2013, and as a Junior Process Engineer/Research Scholar at Queensland Alumina Ltd from December 2006 to May 2007. Anthony began their professional journey as a Laboratory Assistant at Parsons Brinckerhoff from November 2005 to April 2006.

Anthony Almarza attended The University of Queensland from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Chemical Engineering.
