Christopher Croom

Christopher Croom is a seasoned professional in the aerospace and satellite industry, currently serving as the Department Manager of On Orbit Programs and Ground Segment Solutions at Maxar Technologies since January 2014. In this role, Christopher addresses diverse customer needs, supporting mission tool development and innovative proposals. Prior to this, Christopher was the President of Cinnamon Bay, focusing on training and consulting solutions for satellite operators. Christopher also held the position of Senior Director at Sirius XM Radio Inc., where responsibilities included managing a startup Orbital Operations Department and overseeing satellite systems engineering. With prior roles at Boeing as a Lead Orbital Analyst and experience at ANSER and NASA, Christopher has a solid background in systems engineering and mission operations, underpinned by advanced degrees in astronautics and mechanical engineering from The George Washington University and the University of South Carolina, respectively.
