Ana-Paula Martins-Fernandes

Ana-Paula Martins-Fernandes currently serves as the Senior Vice President & Head of Global Sales at MaxCyte, Inc. since January 2025. Following a tenure as VP of Global Sales for Genomics and Synthetic Solutions at Azenta Life Sciences from August 2023 to January 2025, Ana-Paula held the position of VP for Sequencing and Life Sciences at Roche from June 2019 to February 2022, overseeing business operations and strategy. Additional roles include Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing at PRECISION NANOSYSTEMS from May 2016 to November 2018, and Head of Sales for North America at RAININ Instrument from November 2010 to April 2016. Before these positions, Ana-Paula held several leadership roles at Life Technologies, contributing to business integration and strategic planning for the Latin American market. Ana-Paula is also the founder of AP Fernandes Consulting, providing commercial advisory services to life sciences and analytical chemistry companies since November 2018. Educational qualifications include an MBA from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and a degree in Business Administration from Universidade Paulista.
