Lewis Manning has worked in several roles since 2009. Lewis began their career as a Waiter at The Grey Lady in 2009, followed by a Summer Intern position at Sir Robert McAlpine in the same year. In 2015, they worked as a Waiter at THE ROSEMARY SHRAGER COOKERY SCHOOL LIMITED. Two years later, they became a Graduate Electronics Engineer at ATLAS ELEKTRONIK UK. Currently, they are employed as a Hardware Engineer at Maxeler Technologies, a position they have held since 2019.

Lewis Manning has a diverse educational background. From 2009 to 2011, they attended The Skinners' School. From 2011 to 2015, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) (Hons) in Electronics Engineering from the University of Portsmouth. In 2017, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Leeds. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Expert VHDL from Doulos in December 2017, MSc from the University of Leeds in December 2017, Comprehensive VHDL from Doulos in October 2017, BEng (Hons) from the University of Portsmouth in September 2015, and MIET from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in June 2020.
