Kevin Sliwoski has a diverse work experience. Kevin worked as a Project Associate & Technical Writer at MaXentric Technologies starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they were a Researcher at the University of California, Riverside from September 2018 to May 2019. Kevin also served as a Teaching Assistant at the university from September 2016 to May 2018, teaching and mentoring undergraduate students in various subjects. Additionally, they were a Visiting Researcher at the Naval History and Heritage Command in September and October 2017.

Afterward, from 2015 to 2019, Kevin attended the University of California, Riverside, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Ethnomusicology. In addition to their academic achievements, Kevin also holds a certification from the FourBlock/PTLU Military Spouse Career Readiness Program Alumni, which they obtained in April 2022.
