Brian Kuhn

Brian Kuhn is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical engineering with extensive experience in solar energy solutions. Currently serving as the Head Architect System and Electronics at Maxeon Solar Technologies since July 2023, Brian is responsible for developing the company's vision and strategy for system architecture. Prior to that, Brian held the position of Director of Engineering at SunPower Corporation from November 2014 to June 2023, overseeing the electronics in residential solar solutions. Brian co-founded Solarbridge Technologies, where a focus on making solar energy more accessible was established, serving as the Director of Power Electronics from February 2004 to November 2014. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research Engineer at Purdue University, a Senior Engineer at P.C. Krause & Associates, a Graduate Research Assistant at Missouri University of Science and Technology, and a Co-op Engineer at Olin Corporation. Brian holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and completed coursework towards a Ph.D. at Purdue University.
