Mel Yoftka

Mel Yoftka is an accomplished headwear designer currently employed at Pro Standard since September 2022, with a focus on illustration. Mel has diverse experience in the fashion industry, having worked as a textile designer at Rayo Negro and as a costume designer for Canal Once TV's "Operación Mamut." Prior academic contributions include a teaching position at Secretaría de Educación Superior Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación, specializing in textile construction and economic autonomy through fashion design. Mel's creative leadership has also been demonstrated at HANKER, where responsibility included lingerie design and branding. Previously, Mel served in various styling roles and conducted intensive workshops on lingerie and swimwear design at Monkey Philosophy. Educational background includes a degree in Industrial and Product Design from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, complemented by specialized training in DIY lingerie, fashion marketing, and communication.
