Alexandre Ackermans has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Alexandre is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Maximizer, where they focus on building a strong team and delivering a modern SaaS CRM product. Previously, they founded AntEater, a financial SaaS platform for Canadian businesses. Alexandre also worked as the CTO/Entrepreneur in Residence at the Allen Institute for AI (AI2) and was the Slack Developers - Vancouver Chapter Lead at Slack. Prior to that, Alexandre served as the Vice President of Engineering/Technology at Eventbase Technology Inc., where they played a key role in building a mobile platform used by millions of users. Alexandre also co-founded Okapink and worked as a software engineer and scientist in various organizations, including Zetes, ULB, and Infosoft-SW. At Infosoft-SW, they handled the development, marketing, and distribution of a flagship software product. Alexandre's work experience showcases their expertise in engineering, technology, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
Alexandre Ackermans has a strong educational background in computer science. Alexandre completed a Master's degree in Computer Science at Université libre de Bruxelles from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Licence in Computer Science from the same university, studying from 2000 to 2005.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Alexandre has also obtained two certifications. In July 2018, they became a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect through Google. Alexandre also holds a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in July 2014.
