Gayathri Rajan has over 16 years of experience in product management and leadership. Gayathri started their career as a Senior Product Manager at Financial Engines in 2004. In 2006, they joined Google as a Product leader on Google Payments, Android, Maps Monetization. In 2016, they became the VP/GM of Google Maps Platform and led the organization to growth. Under their direction, the company landed new vertically integrated solutions for on-demand transportation, logistics and commerce, negotiating multi-year enterprise deals.

In 2022, Gayathri Rajan left Google to join Shape Therapeutics Inc. as their Director.

Gayathri Rajan has an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA and M.Engg in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
