Robert Patton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Robert is currently serving as the Chief Strategy and Business Planning Officer at The Maxol Group since January 2022, where they previously held the role of Group Financial Controller from February 2019 to January 2022. Prior to that, Robert worked at Valeo Foods Group, where they served as Acting Financial Controller from June 2018 to February 2019 and as Operations Controller (Finance) from August 2016 to June 2018. Before their time at Valeo Foods, Robert worked at Greene Farm Foods for 11 years, starting as Financial Controller and eventually becoming the Finance & Commercial Director. Robert played a key role in the growth and development of the business, including expanding its export sales and implementing various systems and procedures. Robert began their career at Swan O'Sullivan as a Trainee Accountant/Audit Junior/Semi-Senior, gaining valuable experience in tax, accounting, and auditing. Robert also briefly worked at P.S. Patton (Interiors) Limited, their family's business, as an Accounts Assistant/Financial Controller, where they gained experience in handling challenging issues and focusing on improvement and growth.
Robert Patton earned a BA degree in Accounting & Finance from Dublin Business School from 2000 to 2003. Robert later pursued a degree in Accounting from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, graduating in 2005. Finally, they attended the Irish Tax Institute from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained an AITI degree in Tax.
