David Butz geb. Bischoff

David Butz geb. Bischoff has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. David is currently working at maxsolar GmbH, where they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer / Prokurist since May 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Project Execution at the same company from January 2022 to May 2022.

Between September 2020 and December 2021, David took a sabbatical period in which they did not work.

Before joining maxsolar GmbH, David worked at GE Power. David held multiple positions during their tenure at GE Power. From July 2019 to August 2020, they served as the GE Transfer Gesellschaft. Prior to that, they were the Operations and Productivity Manager from November 2016 to June 2019 and the Engineering Manager from October 2015 to November 2016.

David also gained valuable experience at ALSTOM, where they worked from March 2011 to September 2015 as the Head of Service Engineering Department Beijing. Prior to ALSTOM, they worked at Alstom Power as a Tender Manager for Steam Turbine Retrofits from January 2008 to February 2011.

David Butz, geb. Bischoff, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Wirtschafsingenieurwesen Maschinenbau from HTWG Hochschule Konstanz – Technik, Wirtschaft und Gestaltung, which they attended from 2003 to 2007. In 2021, they pursued professional certifications in project management and agile methodologies. David completed the Prince 2 Foundation & Practitioner program at Karrieretutor and also received certifications as a Professional Scrum Master 1 from Karrieretutor and a Professional Scrum Product Owner 1 from Scrum.org. Additionally, during the same year, but without specified starting year, David obtained the Professional Scrum Master II certification from scrum.org.
