Annelise Barron is the current Director at Maxwell Biosciences. Annelise previously held a Full Professor of Chemical & Biological Engineering position at Northwestern University from January 1997 to August 2007. Additionally, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at ACLARA BioSciences from January 1996 to December 1996. Lastly, they were an NIH NRSA Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UCSF, Dept. of Pharmaceutical Chemistry in collaboration with Chiron Corp. from January 1996 to December 1996. Her research has been focused on the development of Poly-N-substituted Glycines, or "Peptoids".
Annelise Barron has a postdoctoral fellowship in medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. Annelise also has a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Washington.
