Anand Bala

Anand Bala has a extensive work experience in the medical industry, with a focus on orthopedics. Anand is currently working as the Vice President - Product at Maxx Orthopedics Inc. Before that, they held various roles at Globus Medical, including Vice President - International Strategic Accounts, Vice President of International Sales - Imaging, Navigation & Robotics, Interim Managing Director in India, Group Engineering Manager - Product Development, and Director - International. Prior to their time at Globus Medical, they worked at Medtronic as a Business Manager and Sales & Marketing Manager in the Spine division. Anand also worked as a Product Manager and Associate Product Manager at Medtronic earlier in their career. Anand Bala began their career in the medical industry at Wipro Biomed as a Sr. Territory Sales Executive and has also worked at Usha Drager Ltd, Transasia Biomedicals, and Advanced Medical Care - A super Specialty Hospital in various service and engineering roles.

Anand Bala completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication from Madurai Kamaraj University from 1988 to 1992. Prior to that, from 1981 to 1988, they attended Bishop Heber Higher Secondary School where they obtained their HSC degree with a focus on subjects such as English, Tamil, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science.

Additionally, Anand Bala obtained a certification as an Energy Leadership (TM) Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) from iPEC Coaching in July 2022.
