Mark Hauser has extensive experience in psychiatry, serving as President of On-Site Psychiatric Services, Inc. since 1985, where responsibilities include the administration of Doctor-on-Call programs for regional hospitals. As a Consulting Psychiatrist, Mark specializes in providing consultation for organizations supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and psychiatric conditions, and maintains a private practice in forensic psychiatry. Mark is a Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, with a commitment to teaching and research since 1985. In addition, Mark is involved with various organizations, including participation in the Behavioral Health Forum at Massachusetts Health Data Consortium and serving as Program Director for the Psychiatry Department’s Doctor On Call Program at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Mark has also contributed to the field as a member of the American Association for Emergency Psychiatry and as Chairperson of the Human Rights Advisory Committee for the Department of Mental Health. Mark holds an M.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.
