Melinda Lipani

Melinda Lipani currently serves as the Managing Director of Resource Development at MAYA Consulting, starting in November 2023. Previously, Melinda was a self-employed Design and Development Strategist from October 2022 to November 2023, focusing on resource development and capacity building for organizations. Melinda spent four years at the Austin Independent School District as the Supervisor of Resource Development for the Office of Innovation & Development and the Austin Ed Fund, leading a team to secure $91 million in competitive proposals. Additional experience includes roles as a Resource Development Specialist, Fundraising and Communications expert at Texans Standing Tall, and Senior Advisor/Grants Manager from 2011 to 2016. Melinda holds a Master of Arts in American Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in American/United States Studies/Civilization from The University of Texas at Austin, along with various certificates in fundraising and educational equity.
