Vito Marone

Vito Marone has a diverse work experience in the software and engineering industry. Vito is currently serving as the Vice President of Strategy at Maya HTT, where they collaborate with management on organizational strategy. Vito also works as a Board Advisor at Maya HTT.

Prior to this, Vito held various positions at FARO Technologies. Vito was the Head of Corporate Strategy and M&A, responsible for overseeing the yearly strategic planning process and executing merger and acquisition transactions. Vito also served as the Senior Director of Software Products, leading a team of product managers and developing strategies for the market-directing 3D reality software portfolio. Additionally, they held the role of Director, 3D Solutions, where they restructured the organization and launched a new company vertical for the manufacturing industry. Vito also served as the Chief Platform Owner for BuildIT division, managing all general operations and leading the eventual integration into FARO.

Before joining FARO Technologies, Vito was the CEO of BuildIT Software and Solutions. Vito managed the general operations of the company, improved the product, grew sales, and facilitated the sale of BuildIT to FARO Technologies Inc.

Earlier in their career, Vito worked at Famic Technologies as the Business Development and Account Manager for Automation Studio. Vito was responsible for business development, sales, and account management, introducing the software to new industries and markets.

Vito Marone holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Vito also attended Harvard Business School in 2023 for a program in Mergers and Acquisitions: Strategy, Execution, and Post-Merger Management, for which they obtained a certification. Additionally, Vito obtained a Professional Engineer certification from Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec in 2010.
