Brent Edwards is an accomplished professional in hotel management and maintenance with extensive experience across various roles. Currently serving as General Manager and previously as Engineering Manager at Maya Hotels since August 2020, Brent has a proven track record in overseeing hotel property maintenance, safety, and operations. Prior roles include Assistant General Manager and Maintenance Manager at Sonesta Hotels, and Chief of Maintenance at Sudah Investments/Comfort Suites, where Brent ensured compliance with safety procedures and effective property management. With a background in community leadership as the Director of Small Groups and Community Care at The Cove Church, Brent also has a solid foundation in electronics from American Dornier Machinery Corporation and the US Navy, where Brent held positions as Electronics Instructor and Technician/Supervisor, respectively. Education includes studies from the University of Maryland - European Division and multiple certifications from the US Navy.
