Mrs. Hamida Binti Morris has been appointed as a Director of Maybank Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited, effective December 1, 2018.

Currently, Mrs. Morris is the Chief Executive Officer of Maybank Group. Responsible for securities business Investment Banking and Derivatives in Maybank Group, all branches.

Mrs. Morris joined Maybank IB in 2009 as Head of Securities. Taking care of customer management, both retail and institutional customers plays an important role in mergers leading the company Kim En Holding From a Singapore based company to Maybank IB, from a standalone business to a prominent conglomerate and the current leader in ASEAN. under the management of Mrs. Morris Maybank Group It has become the largest securities conglomerate in ASEAN and has been ranked as the best securities company in Southeast Asia for 5 consecutive years. Growing from the 10th position to become one of the top 3 securities companies in Malaysia It has also been consistently ranked as the best Malaysian securities company.

Prior to being appointed Chief Executive Officer of Maybank Group Ms. Morris served as Chief Operating Officer in 2015 overseeing securities operations. Drive business management strategies and securities operations management in 10 countries, covering 6 countries in ASEAN and Hong Kong, India, the United Kingdom and the United States.
