Niketa Patel

Niketa Patel serves as the Co-Head of the New York Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice and Litigation Partner at Mayer Brown, where tenure began in October 2014. In addition, Niketa is Co-Head of the Cost Allocation Committee and a Civil Justice Fellow at Lawyers for Civil Justice since April 2021. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Legal Counsel during a secondment at HSBC from April 2018 to April 2019 and as a Teaching and Research Assistant at The Wharton School in 2014. Niketa also held a Certified Legal Intern position at the University of Pennsylvania Civil Practice Clinic and achieved recognition as a National and Regional Champion with the University of Pennsylvania Mock Trial Team. Educational achievements include a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, a Wharton Certificate in Management, and a BA in English Literature and French Language and Literature from the University of Pennsylvania.
