Stuart Galvin has a diverse work experience in the field of IT infrastructure and operations. Stuart started their career in 1994 as an Engineering Support Specialist at ICM Computer Group, where they repaired customer equipment on site. Stuart then joined Rowe & Maw LLP in 1999 as an IT Operations Supervisor, where they managed various projects including the deployment of Citrix farm and Cisco switches. In 2002, Stuart joined Mayer Brown as an EMEA/ASIA Network Supervisor, where they played a key role in managing network projects and ensuring operational efficiency. Stuart later served as the Global Networking Manager, responsible for creating and maintaining the global network strategy and managing the budget for network services. From 2014 to 2019, they held the position of Senior Manager (A/D), Global IT Engineering & Operations at Mayer Brown, before being promoted to the role of Global Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations in 2022. In this role, Stuart is accountable for the strategic and operational management of the firm's technology infrastructure, including storage, server and virtualization, data centre management, and cloud infrastructure strategy.
