Samuel Owens, EI EIT, is a Civil Engineering professional with extensive experience in construction inspection and field engineering. Currently serving as a Construction Inspector I at Mayes Testing Engineers, Inc. since July 2018, Samuel has developed skills in floor flatness, load testing, and relative humidity testing. Previous roles include Field Engineer at Krazan & Associates, Inc., where Samuel conducted soil compaction and concrete placement tests, and a Data Collector at IDAX Data Solutions, focusing on ADA compliance for sidewalks and curb ramps. Samuel has also contributed to Habitat for Humanity in various capacities, including as an AmeriCorps VISTA, and has gained experience in engineering support from a volunteer role with the Natural Resources Conservation Service. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, and an Associate of Science in Mathematics from Western Nevada College.
