Sonia L.

Sonia L. has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Starting in 1999, they worked as a Surgical Scrub Technician at Good Samaritan Hospital until 2004. Sonia then transitioned to the University of Cincinnati where they held roles as a Research Associate and Clinical Instructor from 2005 to 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Clinical Education Specialist at Ethicon Endo-Surgery. In 2008, Sonia joined the University of Cincinnati again as a Senior Research Assistant, Lab Manager and Clinical Trials Manager until 2017. During this time, they also worked as a Contract Associate Scientist at Ethicon, Inc. from April to October 2015. From 2017 to 2021, Sonia served as a Laboratory Manager at the Mayfield Brain and Spine Clinic, Surgical Innovation Center. Currently, they hold the role of Director, Research Services at Mayfield Brain & Spine starting from June 2021.

Sonia L.'s education history begins in 2004 when they attended the University of Cincinnati and obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. After completing their associate degree, they pursued further education and from 2009 to 2011, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Biopshychology from the same university. Later, in 2013, Sonia L. returned to the University of Cincinnati and obtained a Clinical Research Certificate in Biology / Human Clinical Trials, which they completed in 2014.
