Guru Pangal

Guru Pangal is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across major companies in the cloud and storage sectors. Currently serving as a Venture Partner at Mayfield Fund since July 2023, Pangal previously held significant positions at Google from November 2019 to July 2023, including VP and GM Storage, Google Cloud, and GM Storage. Pangal was the CEO and Founder of CloudSimple from April 2016 to November 2019 and occupied various leadership roles at Microsoft, including General Manager for Hybrid Storage and Data Protection. Early career highlights include co-founding StorSimple Inc., where Pangal served as President, and leadership roles at Brocade and Rhapsody Networks. Pangal holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Utah State University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
