Asad Islam M.D.

Asad Islam, MD has a diverse work experience in the field of psychiatry. Asad began their career as an Attending Psychiatrist at Carrier Clinic in 2004 and continued in that role until 2008. Following that, they worked as an Attending Psychiatrist at Green Oaks Hospital from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, Dr. Islam took on the role of Medical Director at University Behavioral Health Hospital, where they served as the Medical Director for Outpatient Services until 2011. Asad then transitioned to the role of Medical Director at North Pointe Psychiatry, PA in 2009, where they continue to work. Since 2011, Dr. Islam has also held the position of Medical Director at Mayhill Hospital. Through their various roles and experiences, Dr. Islam has gained valuable expertise in the field of psychiatry.

Asad Islam, MD completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at Dow Medical College from 1990 to 1995. Asad then pursued a Psychiatry Residency Program at Columbia University from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they completed a Geriatric Psychiatry Residency Program at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School from 2003 to 2004.
