Anastasiia Maistrenko

Anastasiia Maistrenko is a Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic since May 2023, with extensive research experience at Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology from November 2006 to October 2019, where roles included Junior Researcher, Research Technologist, and Laboratory Technician. In the capacity of Junior Researcher, Anastasiia managed a multi-group project focusing on the effects of hypoxia on calcium signaling and gene expression in the hippocampus, contributing to a defended PhD thesis and three publications in peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, Anastasiia has been involved in organizing international conferences and corporate events. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Degree in Human and Animal Physiology, a Master of Science in Molecular Biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Art from Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University.
