Anika Bausom

Anika Bausom is a skilled CX Analyst and UX Designer at Mayo Clinic since September 2024, focusing on developing innovative diagnostic solutions to enhance patient care. Prior to this, Anika held the position of Senior Product Designer at GRIN, leading a team of 15 in feature development for a startup SaaS platform. Anika has extensive freelance experience in UX and visual design, along with roles at Research Collective and Neudesic, contributing to user experience and design strategies for medical and enterprise applications. Previous positions at Arizona State University included UX Designer and Qualitative UX Researcher, where Anika focused on enhancing digital experiences. Anika began a career in design as a Graphic Designer at the Center for Health Information and Research and later served as a Senior Designer at Rain Visual Strategy + Design. Anika co-founded Read Together, an EdTech startup that won first place at StartUp Weekend EDU 2014. Academic credentials include a Master’s in User Experience and dual Bachelor's degrees in Visual Communication Design and Psychology.
