Dr. Rupashi Mukhia

Dr. Rupashi Mukhia, MD, is a resident physician at Mayo Clinic since July 2023, with a diverse range of roles in the medical field including medical officer at Star Hospital, content writer and editor for medtigo, and editorial assistant for both JKISTMC and the Journal Of Society Of Surgeons Nepal. Previous experiences include a research fellowship at Cleveland Clinic and clinical externship at UPMC. Dr. Mukhia has developed a strong foundation in various medical procedures such as catheterization, basic life support, and emergency procedures, and has supervised patient care in critical settings. Education was completed at Kathmandu University and Nepal Medical College with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, following high school education in science.
