Isa Watanabe

Isa Watanabe is a highly experienced technology professional currently serving as a Principal Technologist at Mayo Clinic since January 2025 and as Co-Founder and CTO at MillPont since April 2023. Previous roles include Senior Product Strategist and Senior Software Engineer at Descartes Labs from October 2021 to January 2025, Quantum Software Engineer at Strangeworks from September 2022 to January 2023, Consultant at Slalom from October 2019 to June 2020, and Technical Lead at Schlumberger from February 2018 to October 2019. Isa began a career at Microsoft as an Active Directory Specialist from July 2015 to February 2018 and worked as a Market Researcher at Purdue Foundry in early 2014. Isa holds a Master’s degree in Spatial Analysis and Epidemiology from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Accounting and Business Management, concentrating in Management Information Systems, from Purdue University.
