Leah Forsberg

Leah Forsberg is a Program Manager and Assistant Professor of Neurology at Mayo Clinic, with experience coordinating clinical trials for Frontotemporal Dementia at the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center since December 2017. Prior roles at Mayo Clinic include Senior Program Coordinator, Instructor in Neurology, Program Coordinator, and Clinical Research Coordinator. Between August 2011 and October 2017, Leah served as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Kansas Department of Medicinal Chemistry, where small molecule inhibitors were designed and synthesized for neurodegenerative disease pharmaceuticals, contributing to five peer-reviewed scientific journal articles. Earlier experience includes an undergraduate research position at The Scripps Research Institute. Leah holds a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from The University of Kansas and a BA in Chemistry from Luther College.
