Petronio Alcantara

Petronio Alcantara is currently serving as a Senior Experience Design Researcher at Mayo Clinic, focusing on the Center for Digital Health within the XD Strategy & Research Portfolio, specializing in data, AI/ML, and LLM since September 2024. Previously, Petronio held multiple UX Researcher positions at Microsoft from September 2021 to September 2024, which involved exploring generative AI integrations for the Windows App Store and contributing to Microsoft's Teams Consumer Growth. Additional experience includes a contract UX Researcher role at Meta from October 2022 to February 2023 and positions at Google from October 2019 to September 2021 as a UX Research Associate and Global Research Program Manager, working on AI/ML features for Google Workspace and managing B2B brand tracking for Google and YouTube Ads Marketing, respectively. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington, with an expected completion date of December 2027.
