Tahir Mehmood

Tahir Mehmood has extensive experience in internal medicine, having served at Mayo Clinic since July 2014 in roles including Consultant and Senior Associate Consultant in Hospital Internal Medicine, as well as a Transfusion Medicine Fellow. At Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City from July 2021 to January 2024, Tahir held positions in Hospital Medicine and served as Associate Program Director for Internal Medicine. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Resident and Internal Medicine Resident at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center from June 2011 to June 2014. Tahir obtained an MD in Medicine from All Saints University, Dominica, from 2005 to 2010, and completed a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Anthropology and Psychology at the University of Toronto from 2002 to 2005.
