Vivek Kumbhari M.D.

Vivek Kumbhari MD PhD serves as a Professor of Medicine and Chair of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Florida, as well as the Director of Advanced Endoscopy. Kumbhari is a co-founder and member of the Board of Directors at endiatx and serves as the co-founder and Chairman of the Board at Aurora Medical Technologies. Previous roles include Associate Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins Medicine and Assistant Professor of Medicine at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, following an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship there. Kumbhari's clinical training includes fellowships in gastroenterology at Bankstown Hospital and St George Hospital. Kumbhari earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Otago.
