Jim Sargent

Jim Sargent is currently the lighting director at Mayo Performing Arts Center. Jim has over 20 years of experience in the stage lighting industry, having previously worked as a lighting supervisor at Rutgers University and a stage technician at McCarter Theatre. Jim is highly skilled in hanging and focusing lights, operating a spotlight, and running deck and property moves. Jim is also experienced in coordinating with other faculty and staff on scheduling and budgets. Jim is dedicated to maintaining a safe working environment for all.

Jim Sargent's educational career includes earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Theater from Stockton University.

Jim Sargent reports to Chris Ball, Production Director. They work with Karen Kogut - Catering & Hospitality Assistant, Vincent Dornellas - A2 Audio Engineer, and Meri Larsen - Production Manager.
