Mohamed Arafa

Mohamed Arafa has worked in a variety of roles in the UX and product design industry. Mohamed began their career in 2011 as a Senior Web Designer at Spotlayer Foundation. Mohamed then moved to ITValue in 2012, where they worked as a Senior Web Designer. In 2013, they worked as a Senior Product Designer at both Hindawi Publishing Corporation and Hindawi Foundation for Education and Culture. In 2014, they worked as a Senior Graphic Web Designer at Doctoruna.com. In 2016, they became a UX Design Lead at Abou Ghaly Motors, where they were responsible for all details related to the design, starting with the website and web applications interaction, mobile apps design interfaces. Mohamed then moved to Magints in 2017, where they again worked as a UX Design Lead. In 2019, they became a UX Design Lead at TEAM4 Security, where they conducted user research, interviews, and surveys, and translated them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes ready to test. Finally, in 2021, they became the Head of UX & Product Design at Mazadat, where they are responsible for discovering and selecting talented designers, developing their skills, and managing and mentoring a team of product and UX designers.

Mohamed Arafa obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the Faculty of Commerce between 2002 and 2006. Prior to that, they completed their High School studies at Military Secondary between 1997 and 2001. Additionally, they have a KIT for Web Design certification.
