Amelia Joslin's work experience begins in 2010 at UC Davis, where they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher until 2014. During this time, they developed a model for a database of nutrient-gene-phenotype interactions and mined information from literature sources to determine novel gene-SNP-phenotype interactions.

In 2013, Amelia joined UC Davis Medical Center as a Junior Specialist, where they ran experiments to better understand B vitamins and their relation to disease, specifically in the context of Parkinson's disease. Amelia also participated in a vitamin B12 and Parkinson's disease study funded by the Michael J Fox Foundation.

From 2014 to 2020, Amelia worked at the University of Chicago as a Doctoral Graduate Student.

Currently, since 2020, Amelia Joslin works at Maze Therapeutics as a Scientist, and previously held the role of Scientist ll.

Amelia Joslin began their education in 2008 at the University of California, Davis, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Science with an emphasis on Biochemistry. Amelia successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2012. Subsequently, Amelia enrolled at the University of Chicago in 2014 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree.
