Carrie McCarthy

Carrie McCarthy has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Carrie currently holds the position of Director of Small Business Banking at Mazuma Credit Union since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Academy Bank as a Business Banking Officer from January 2020 to September 2021, and as a Business Development Manager from May 2019 to January 2020.

Before joining Academy Bank, Carrie worked at Mazuma Credit Union as a Business Banker from June 2018 to May 2019.

Carrie also has experience outside of the banking industry, having worked at HI5 FURNITURE, INC. as a Project Manager/Inside Sales from March 2016 to June 2018.

Carrie's earlier experience includes roles at Great Southern Bank as a Business Banking Officer from September 2014 to March 2016, and at BankLiberty as a Vice President from February 2014 to September 2014.

Carrie started their career at Bank of the West, where they held the position of Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President from August 2011 to February 2014.

Carrie's long-standing experience in the banking sector began at US Bank, where they worked as a Branch Manager, AVP from March 2002 to August 2011.

Carrie McCarthy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Park University from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Merchandising from Northwest Missouri State University between 1998 and 2001. Carrie had earlier completed an Associate of Arts (AA) from North Central Missouri College from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, Carrie has obtained several certifications, including "Assessing Drivers of Business Growth" from the Corporate Finance Institute in October 2022, "QuickBooks Online Essential Training" from LinkedIn in September 2020, "Running a Profitable Business: Understanding Cash Flow" from LinkedIn in September 2020, "Accounting Foundations: Bookkeeping" from LinkedIn in August 2020, and "Finance Essentials for Small Business" from LinkedIn in August 2020.
