Irina Buholzer

Irina Buholzer is an experienced banking executive currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at MBaer Merchant Bank since November 2024. Previously, Irina held key positions at Schroders from September 2021 to October 2024, including Head of Service Centre Wealth Management and Deputy Head of Service Centre Zurich. Additional experience includes roles at Rothschild & Co as Head of Operations Service Center (March 2010 - June 2021), HSBC as Head of Operations (November 2006 - January 2010), and St. Galler Kantonalbank AG as Head of Management Support Private Banking (May 2004 - August 2006). Irina also served as COO and Vice-CFO at Zurich Invest Bank AG from July 1998 to February 2004. Educational achievements include an Executive Program in Banking from the Swiss Finance Institute and a Master's degree in Statistics and Oeconometrics from the University for National and World Economics, Sofia, Bulgaria.
