Adam Górniak

Adam Górniak is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Chief Risk Officer and a member of the Executive Committee for Czech and Slovak Branches at mBank S.A. since March 2016. Adam has held several key positions, including Deputy Director for risk strategy, Head of Credit Risk Quantification, and AIRB Project Leader, where critical initiatives such as the implementation of the AIRB approach under BASEL II were successfully executed. Educational credentials include an Executive MBA from Kozminski University and participation in programs at Harvard Business School and Keio University, complemented by a Master’s degree in informatics and econometrics from the University of Lodz.
