Sergey Chernev

Sergey Chernev has over 20 years of work experience. Sergey began their career in 1995 as a Software Engineer at the Center of New Informational Tech/Novosibirsk State University. In 1998, they became a Teacher at Novosibirsk State University. In 2000, they held three positions simultaneously as a Technical Representative at RBNet (Russian Business Network), Senior Software Engineer and Certified Oracle Instructor at Sibinfocenter, and Consultant at Novosoft. In 2004, they became the Director at Positive Solutions Co. Ltd. In 2005, they were the CTO at Gigafone, where they were responsible for technology and development of mobile advertising platform in widely distributed company, as well as patenting (USPTO, EPO) and managing the Russian entity. In 2017, they became a Technology Advisor at Doctor Smart. Sergey currently serves as VP Russia, CIS, India at Mbanq Digital Banking.

Sergey Chernev's education history includes a Ph.D. from Tomsk Polytechnic University in Technical Science from 1999 to 2003, a Master from Novosibirsk State University (NSU) in Physics/CS from 1993 to 1999, and a program at ФМШ при НГУ from 1992 to 1993.
