Julien Missial has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Julien started their career as a Project Management Intern at Comprehensive Clinical Development, where they initiated the acquisition for new network sites and validated research personnel. Julien then worked as a Publications Chair for the UCF Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, taking on art direction responsibilities and creating promotional materials.
Julien's technical background includes roles as an Associate Software Engineer and Software Engineering Intern at Lockheed Martin, where they worked on Apache Cordova-based applications and assisted with development for a Unity-based flight trainer. Julien also worked as an iOS Developer for Forcefield Online, Inc., providing remote support for their mobile apps, and for Bubble Social App LLC.
As a Freelance Illustrator, Julien self-published an adult coloring book, completed various commissions, and promoted their digital paintings. Julien also founded Strongth Fitness and developed their mobile app, ran advertising campaigns, and led a small team of developers and designers.
Julien's recent experience includes roles as a Consultant at Accenture, where they served as an Ionic subject matter expert, led iOS development projects, and managed monthly releases and deployments. Julien then worked as a Hybrid Mobile Developer at Pfizer before joining Millsapps, Ballinger & Associates (MB&A) as a Lead Mobile Developer.
Julien Missial obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their degree, they have acquired various certifications, including the SAFe 5.0 Scrum Master Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., obtained in July 2020, and the SAFe 4 Practitioner Certification, obtained in July 2019. Julien also received certifications from Udemy, including the Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I in July 2019, and completed courses such as Angular Crash Course for Busy Developers and The Complete React Native and Redux Course in September 2018.
