Nancy Royston

Nancy Royston has extensive work experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on contract compliance and revenue management. Nancy started their career at Discovery Communications in 1999, working as a Financial Specialist in the Affiliate Finance department. Nancy was responsible for managing affiliate payment posting and subscriber tracking for various networks. Nancy also led a conversion project to merge finance and sales data into a joint affiliate system.

In 2002, Nancy was promoted to the role of Supervisor in the Affiliate Receivables department. Nancy created and monitored revenue fluctuation files, handled MSO payment and subscriber reporting, and managed the new affiliate system.

From 2003 to 2005, Nancy served as an Affiliate Contract Financial Analyst, ensuring compliance with contract terms and resolving breach issues. Nancy collaborated with finance, legal, and sales teams to address acquisition and divestiture notices and system terminations.

In 2005, Nancy became a Manager of Business Analysis in the Domestic Distribution division. Nancy conducted in-depth compliance analysis, worked with the legal team to resolve issues, and developed a database for affiliate lineup tracking.

In 2008, Nancy was promoted to the role of Director of Contract Compliance, where they managed compliance teams for cable and education contracts. Nancy negotiated distribution contracts, collected past due fees, and motivated their staff to achieve results.

From 2015 to 2016, Nancy held the position of Vice President of Contract Compliance, providing strategic leadership for cable contract compliance efforts and managing a team of professionals.

Since 2017, Nancy has been working as a Billing Reimbursement and Compliance Analyst at Truetox Laboratories, LLC. Nancy'srole involves managing billing and reimbursement processes and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Currently, Nancy works as the Finance & Accounting Lead at Millsapps, Ballinger & Associates (MB&A).

Nancy Royston obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Strayer University between 2002 and 2005. Prior to this, they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Graphic Communications at Farmingdale State College, although the exact duration of this program remains unknown.
