Kinga Zielinska is a skilled bioinformatician with extensive experience in microbiome research, currently serving in multiple roles, including postdoctoral work at Jagiellonian University and positions at the Human Biome Institute and mbiomics GmbH. Key projects include analyses of the human gut microbiome's health and its changes related to COVID-19, as well as the design of synthetic gut consortia. Previous experience includes consulting for FitBiomics on athlete gut microbiota and a short internship at Run3D Ltd. focusing on machine learning applications in gait analysis. Kinga holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Bioscience from the University of Oxford and a First Class Degree with Honours in Natural Sciences from the University of Exeter.
