Eric McNiffe has worked in a variety of engineering roles since 2009. In 2009, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer for the Formula Student Team at Liverpool John Moores University, where they developed their engineering skills by designing and building a single-seated racing car. In 2011, Eric worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Weldstar Manufacturing and as a Mechanical Design Engineer for Dial A Dump Industries, where they designed and integrated resource recovery and separation systems. From 2014 to 2015, Eric worked as a Field Engineer for Beacon Minerals Ltd and as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Engineer for OGTEC Engineering Services LTD. In 2019, Eric worked as a Research and Development Engineer for the National University of Ireland, Galway, where they developed a method for integration of strain sensors into composite components. Currently, Eric is a Lead Mechanical Engineer for MBRYONICS.
Eric McNiffe completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology in 2008. Eric then went on to pursue a PGCE in Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University in 2009-2010. In 2018, they completed a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Galway.
