Annick Wéry

Supplier QA Ops Bioprocess and single use system at MCA Belgium

Annick Wéry has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and validation. Annick started their career in 2007 as a QC technician at GSK, where they were responsible for environmental monitoring and sample analysis. Annick then worked as a QC collaborator at Pfizer, performing daily monitoring of environmental samples and initiating deviation reports.

In 2012, Annick joined Shire as an EM CI Coordinator, where they managed deviations related to environmental monitoring and conducted inspections in the production area. Annick also updated standard operating procedures and provided training to technicians.

From 2017 to 2018, Annick worked as a consultant expert at CVO-EUROPE on a data integrity project at SGS. Their responsibilities included writing protocols and test sheets, as well as monitoring the execution of tests.

Annick's experience at MCA Belgium includes two roles. As a Validation Coordinator, they worked on projects involving new production lines using single-use/ready-to-use equipment and was responsible for validation planning. In their role as a Supplier QA Ops Bioprocess and Single Use System, they reviewed and approved qualification documents for single-use materials, ensured compliance with incoming materials, and acted as the QA point of contact for change controls and CAPA.

Most recently, Annick worked as a senior consultant at Nalys, where they provided expertise in the field of quality assurance and validation.

In the future, Annick will be joining Strand Associates Consulting as a QA Validation Project member in April 2023.

Annick Wéry began their education in 2004 at Haute Ecole Provinciale de Hainaut - Condorcet, where they pursued a Baccalauréat technologue de laboratoire with a focus on Biologie médicale option chimie clinique. Annick completed this degree in 2007. From 2008 to 2009, Annick continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Baccalauréat en sciences industriels in Biochimie. Annick then went on to pursue a Master en sciences de l'ingénieur industriel in Biochimie from 2009 to 2011 at the Haute Ecole Provinciale de Hainaut - Condorcet.

In addition to their formal education, Annick Wéry has also obtained certifications in project management. In June 2022, they completed the PRINCE2® Foundation, 6th edition certification from QRP International. Later in October 2022, they obtained the PRINCE2® Practitioner certification from the same institution.
