Rebecca Benfield is a Designer II at McAdams, a position held since July 2022, after previously serving as Designer I in Water Resources. Prior to joining McAdams, Rebecca worked as an Environmental Engineer at NCDEQ from July 2017 to July 2022, where responsibilities included managing regulations related to Total Coliform, Nitrate/Nitrite, and Ground Water. Key contributions involved communication with the EPA, laboratories, and water systems, leading educational sessions on treatment practices, conducting studies on PFAS, and assisting with the implementation of the EPA Compliance Monitoring Data Portal. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, obtained between 2010 and 2016.
