Robert Steeber

Robert Steeber serves as the Superintendent of McAlester Public Schools since July 2022, following a successful tenure as Assistant Superintendent of Human Capital at Grand Prairie ISD from August 2014 to June 2022, where responsibilities included leading hiring functions and data analysis for staffing. Prior roles include Deputy Executive Director at ESC Region 11 and Superintendent positions at Athens ISD and S&S Consolidated ISD. Robert Steeber holds a Doctorate in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce, a Master's in Educational Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, a Bachelor's in Teaching from East Central University, and advanced qualifications in Data Analytics from the University of North Texas.
