Eugene Taylashev

Eugene Taylashev is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in governance, risk management, and security operations across various sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Information Security Governance at MCAP since September 2025, Taylashev previously held the role of Information Security Officer at YNCU from May 2020 to September 2025, providing strategic guidance on information security and driving innovation through AI solutions. Earlier roles include Security Architect at MCAP, Security Lead at Auvenir, and Sr. Manager of Information Security at International Financial Data Services, where Taylashev led key audits and implemented security governance frameworks. With a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Taylashev has also contributed to the industry through positions at Canadian Tire Corporation, The Canadian Depository for Securities Limited, PwC, and Deloitte.
