Sven Smeets

Sven Smeets possesses extensive experience in supply chain management, with a focus on procurement, inventory management, and analytics. Currently serving as a Business Analyst in Purchase at MCB since May 2004, Sven is responsible for reporting and analytics to enhance transparency within Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (SCM). Prior roles at MCB include SCM Keyuser for SAP and SAP APO, Masterplanner SCM, SAP Process Team Leader for SCM in an ERP implementation project, and Inventory Manager, where statistical inventory management and supply chain improvements were emphasized. Earlier career positions included Coordinator Purchasing and Logistics at XPS bv, Purchaser at Van Houtum BV, and Assistant Category Manager at De Stiho Groep. Sven holds an MSc in International Logistics from the University of Plymouth and an Ing in Logistiek Management en Technische vervoerskunde from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
